On the afternoon of Aug. 3, the Starting Ceremony of “Cool Wenzhou!” Season 2, which is planned by Wenzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and organized by Wenzhou Overseas media Center (Wenzhoudaily), was held in World Wenzhounese Home.

Last year, the Wenzhou People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries launched a series of online short videos "Cool Wenzhou!", showing Wenzhou’s historical and cultural heritages, and Wenzhou people’s spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship through shooting a 6-episode short videos with the theme of Wenzhou’s history, economic development, traditional customs, people’s friendship, and unity to fight the pandemic.

This year, the Wenzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries will continue to produce the "Cool Wenzhou! “ Season 2, and will invite foreign anchors from the United States, Russia, Spain, South Korea, and Ghana to participate in the filming. And we will use different methods to record their Wenzhou stories, such as Vlog, interviews, follow-up shooting, etc,. The videos of season 2 will be presented in English, Spanish, Russian, Korean and other multilingual forms, and will be pushed through the media cluster of Wenzhou Overseas Media Center.
