On December 14th, at the Wenzhou South Expressway Prevention & Control Point, a group of medical staff wearing protective clothing, masks and face shields were busy at work. Had you not observed carefully, it would have been difficult for you to find that there are two foreign faces under the protective mask —— Sumayyah and her husband Hamad.

"They need us,so we are here again!"  Sumayyah is from Mauritius and Hamad is from Pakistan. They are both doctors of Wenzhou Panhealth Medical Center and the anchors of "Daka China · Hai’ou Community" International Communication Operation Center. This is the second time for them to join the Anti-pandemic Volunteer Team and come to Wenzhou South Expressway Prevention & Control Point, carrying out pandemic prevention & control work, and guarding Wenzhou’s "South Gate". "Last year, they stayed in Wenzhou South Expressway Prevention & Control Point for more than 20 days as volunteers." Su Miaoxin, the vice president of  Wenzhou Panhealth Medical Center, expresses sincere admiration for Sumayyah and Hamad in his words.

"We have been in Wenzhou for so many years. We have a very deep feelings for Wenzhou." For this couple, Wenzhou has already been their second home. Now, the "home" is calling them to make contribution, they gear up once again and throw themselves into fighting the "pandemic". Sumayyah and Hamad signed up with 18 other colleagues to participate in the pandemic prevention and control work at the Wenzhou South Expressway Prevention & Control Point.

It is reported the film crew of "China Story" from Xinhua News Agency came to Wenzhou this April, cooperating with Wenzhou Overseas Media Center to shoot the video "Foreign Doctor Couple Shares Life in China" for Sumayyah and Hamad. After the video was broadcast, it got more than 5 million hits in 2days.
