Sumayyah from Mauritius has lived in China for 12 years, and now she settles in Wenzhou with her husband. Recently, at the Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, Sumayyah was interviewed by reporter from Xinhua News Agency to tell her story.

In addition to the doctor, Sumayyah also has a special identity - "the most beautiful Wenzhou people." At 2020, she and her husband were awarded this honor owing to the contributions they made for Wenzhou's anti-prevention work.

This year, Sumayyah participated in the "Global Young Leaders Dialogue", which enhanced her understanding of Chinese culture. She learned the struggle and achievements the Chinese people have made.

Speaking of China-Africa cultural exchanges, Sumayyah hopes to contribute her wisdom andstrength to enable more foreigners to appreciate Chinese culture and history, and furthermore, tohave a comprehensive understanding of China. "As an envoy to promote China-Africa exchanges, I will make persistent efforts to make the African people understand Chinese culture and China better."
