On the afternoon of Oct. 14, the award ceremony of 2021 "Longgang Cup" Printing and Packaging Design Competition & Expert Session were successfully held at Yingyi Town, Longgang. Touring the town, visiting art exhibition, watching award ceremony, interviewing experts, and communicating with award-winning contestants, Alexandra, a Russian anchor of Wenzhou Oversea Media Center, was invited to experience this activity thoroughly.

It is understood that the “Mayor Cup” National Design Competition has been held for 5 consecutive times since 2017. There are 24,000 works have been collected. A total of 7,077 works are collected this year, a year-on-year increase of 68.5%. And the "Longgang Cup" Printing and Packaging Design Competition is one part of “Mayor Cup” National Design Competition. With the theme of "New Longgang, New Design", this competition brings together design talents from all over the world, accelerates the pace of transforming creative design into real productivity, promotes the integrated development of printing and packaging industries, facilitates the transformation and upgrading of Longgang's manufacturing industry, and plays a positive role for building the brand "Printing Longgang". Jia Huanxiang, Director of Wenzhou Economic and Information Technology Bureau, He Zongjing, Mayor of Longgang City, and Huang Zhenguo, Vice Mayor of Longgang City attended the activity.

Alexandra said that after this experience, she has got the answer as to why Longgang could build itself into a "Printing Base of China". Longgang people's great enthusiasm for the printing industry impressed her deeply.
