Ou Sculpture, a unique folk art in Wenzhou, has a history of more than a thousand years and is developed from the traditional embossed-lacquer skill. In 1959, the Wenzhou Municipal Government renamed this craft as"Ou Sculpture", which represents one of the important components of Ouyue culture. It combines the artistic characteristics of painting and sculpture as a whole.
