WenzhouDaily donated 600 sets of protective suits to Milan

On March 13, 600 sets of protective suits, which were purchased from the United Kingdom and donated to Italy through WenzhouDaily, have arrived in the warehouse owned by Sino-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Milan. These protective suits will be donated to the 118th Emergency Center of Lombardy to support the local people containing COVID-19 virus.
It is understood that these medical supplies were raised by warm-hearted organizations such as the Lucheng District Charity Federation Yiluxing Volunteer Team, Zhejiang University Alumni Association of U.K. and Lingdan Culture Company. According to Chen Zhaole of Yiluxing Volunteer Team, these medical supplies purchased from the United Kingdom was originally planned to support the domestic regions. Now, seeing the severe virus outbreak in Italy, which is also one of the main living countries in Europe for the overseas Chinese in Wenzhou origin, they decided to donate these 600 sets of protective suits through the Wenzhou Overseas Publicity Center to Lombardy, the most severely infected area. These medical supplies were transported by air from the United Kingdom to the warehouse owned by Sino-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Milan. And they were received by Zhou Lixin, the president of Sino-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Milan, then were distributed to the 118th Emergency Center of Lombardy.
It is reported that in the next few days, warm-hearted organizations, people and local overseas Chinese will continue to raise funds and materials to help more people in need.
