Wenzhou has launched the "Internet Hospital Overseas Edition" to provide online anti-epidemic consultation service for 700,000 overseas Chinese
For thinking of overseas Chinese, Wenzhou has launche the "Internet Hospital Overseas Edition" and opened the special section “COVID-19 Consultation” to provide overseas Chinese with 24-hour online anti-epidemic consultation services.
Recently, the COVID-19 epidemic has spread globally. According to the latest data from various countries, the total number of confirmed cases in European countries has exceeded 4,700, among which, the number of confirmed cases in Italy are up to 3,203 distributed in 74 Italian cities. Italy has become the worst affected area in Europe.
Wenzhou, as a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, has nearly 700,000 overseas Chinese in Wenzhou origin working and living around the world, including 290,000 in Italy. In order to provide medical assistance to them in a timely manner, from March 6th, the Wenzhou Municipal Health Commission launched the "Internet Hospital Overseas Edition" - a 24-hour online medical service channel. And a special section “COVID-19 Consultation” was opened to provide overseas Chinese with online consultation services. The vast number of overseas Chinese can reach to Wenzhou Internet Hospital platform through the WeChat official account "健康温州", or search for the Zhejiang Province Internet Hospital platform (浙江省互联网医院平台) in Alipay App and log in. Then they can consult for COVID-19 prevention knowledge or conduct psychological counseling.
According to information, this channel is mainly set up based on the public account Healthy Wenzhou. It has three parts including Oversea Chinese. Among the three parts, Medical Consultation is arranged by Civil Center Hospital which provides online answer, hotline answer on the novel coronavirus diagnosis and consultation by medical experts. The part of Disease Prevention is operated by Center of Disease Control in which the medical elite help answer questions online or on the phone, and guide the protection against the novel coronavirus. The last part is psychological counseling which is arranged by No. 7 Hospital where the psychological experts help answer questions online and on the phone, and provide psychological assistance during the outbreak.
