The premiere of the 20 episodes’ short film "Steiermark Meets Wenzhou" jointly filmed by China and Austria was held at the Wenzhou Library Theater on the afternoon of August 16. Spencer Rose, a guy from USA, served it as the live host. The “Foreigner’s Spotlight” column group of media “Wenzhoudaily” recorded his hosting process by on-site follow shots . He is really cute.
"Steiermark Meets Wenzhou" tells the stories of a pair of tourist partners comprised of Martina, an Austrian girl from Steiermark and Huang Lei, a young man from Wenzhou. A series of stories about friendship, cultural conflict and scenery explorations occur during their tour all the way from Wenzhou to Steiermark. The premiere was hosted by Spencer Rose, a US-based international student in Entrepreneurship Major of Wenzhou University. He has lived in Wenzhou for two years. Spencer likes Daluo Mountain in Wenzhou very much. He said that he was astonished by the scenery of Daluo Mountain. He even shot videos and shared it to his mother who is living in the United States.
Before going up on the stage, Spencer attentively recited the draft and actively check the wordings with the hostess. Though he did not have much experience in ceremony-hosting, he was very well-prepared. The previous nervousness totally did not affect his performance at all after he went onstage. Spencer confidently controlled the audiences on the scene, bringing a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere with his humorous body movements. He was fascinated by the wonderful singing of the guests. Then he interacted with the guests and made jokes.
