In the scorching summer days, the Fu Cha (also called as Summer Tea) points distributed on the streets of Wenzhou have become the most popular places for the citizens. And they also show the kindness and considerateness of this city. For foreigners living in Wenzhou, the Fu Cha is also one of the indispensable drinks that is worth tasting. For example, Agrace, a foreign volunteer from Tanzania, has a great interest in this tea. Last week, the “Foreigner’s Spotlight” program groups of media “WenzhouDaily” specially invited her to be the protagonist of this episode.

  Wenzhou Fu Cha (also called as Summer Tea) is a kind of tea made of more than ten kinds of Chinese medicinal herbs. Wenzhou Fu Cha has a cool and refreshing effect. There is a specially-assigned person who cooks Fu Cha all day in each pavilion in the summer. The cooked Fu Cha is freely supplied to passers-by to help disperse the summer heat from their bodies.

  Agrace, the guest of this episode, is an international student of Wenzhou University. She is from Tanzania and has lived in Wenzhou for two years. The shooting location of this episode of “Foreigner’s Spotlight” was located in Wenzhou’s charity landmark - Hongri Pavilion. Agrace asked the little volunteers for a tea cup, filled it with a cup of Fu Cha and drank it up at a stretch. She said that the taste was really good and she would like to bring her friends here to try.
