On the evening of February 5th, a celebration themed in ”Boisterous Lantern Festival” was held at Wenzhou Overseas Media Centre. The event not only showcased the beauty of China's outstanding culture, but also presented international elements by inviting foreign musical band and dance troupe, bringing a joyful cultural feast integrating Chinese with foreign cultures. Nearly 100 guests were invited to attend the event, including anchors of "Hai’Ou Community", representatives of overseas Chinese leaders, local and international friends.

A variety of shows were given at the event, including making sweet dumplings, guessing lantern riddles, writing calligraphy, eating cakes and floating lanterns. The sound of drums, dynamic lion dance, powerful Wenzhou Nanquan performance, dexterous pop dance and melodious songs brought atmosphere to the climax from time to time. In particular, Percy, the anchor of "Hai’Ou Community", together with an international band, sung Hai’Ou Community’s theme song"With you, Wenzhou Will Be Better". Their performance won the applause of all the audience. What’s more, overseas Chinese and members of “Hai’Ou Community” sent their blessings by the means of video call.
