In order to create a nice child-friendly city atmosphere, and actively guide children to participate in Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, on the afternoon of May 31st, the launching ceremony of  "Child-friendliness” international communication activities & the unveiling ceremony of the "Little Overseas Communication Representatives" (Starfish Club), which is a practice base of Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, were held at the "Times Bookstore", a brand store of Wenzhou Education Investment Group. In the future, Starfish Club will become an important position for the children in Wenzhou to carry out international cultural exchanges. Wenzhou Overseas Media Center specially customized badges, ID cards, vests, hats, etc. for children.

The series of activities titled with"’Child-friendliness’ international communication", which are jointly created by the Publicity Department of the CPC Wenzhou Municipal Committee, Wenzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Wenzhou Municipal Women's Federation, Chengfa Group, and Wenzhou Overseas Media Center, have been officially launched. From today until August, children will be invited to carry out cultural exchanges together with Wenzhou International Volunteers on a fixed day per week.

At the activity site, Sandra, the newly-appointed international tutor of Little Overseas Communication Representatives, delivered a wonderful speech on the construction of child-friendly city in Wenzhou. Hu Jinjia, a Little Overseas Communication Representative, outlined the ideal child-friendly city in his eyes: It has a special colored walking path at the gate of his school. Free water dispensers and GPS school badges are everywhere...
