"Since coming to Wenzhou, I’m really intoxicated with the mild climate here. What’s more, the Wenzhou local people are so hospitable. Therefore, I choose to settle here, being a new Wenzhou native." This is his impression for Wenzhou.

In 2018, Dr. SATO YUKI was brought in the Wenzhou Zhenan Technology City through the “Wenzhou Overseas Elite Plan”, and was employed by Zhejiang Lvhua Environmental Technology Co., Ltd as a distinguished expert. His research focuses on applying biological treatment technology to the harmless processing of sewage, solid waste, and excrements of livestock and poultry.

Dr. SATO YUKI said that in the local soil of Wenzhou, he has extracted 2 newly undocumented bacterial strains. After experiments, it was found that these 2 strains have strong decomposition effects upon the high-fat and fiber substances in the perishable waste under high temperature condition. Now, this decomposition technique has been utilized in the Yaoxi Garbage Sorting Station in Longwan District, Wenzhou for testing, decomposing the collected perishable waste into recyclable organic fertilizer.

Dr. SATO YUKI has gradually blended himself into Longwan. In addition to work, on weekdays, he learns Chinese and meets new friends. He even has gained a love in Wenzhou.
