Move-Type Printing is one of the four great inventions in ancient China. With a history of more than 800 years, "Rui’an Wood Movable-Type Printing" is the only well-preserved ancient printing technique that is still in use in China. It can be called the living fossil of ancient printing. On Nov. 15th, 2010, under the name of "Chinese Movable-Type Printing", it was included in the list of “Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding by UNESCO.
