Non-Hong Kong residents coming from abroad will not be allowed to enter Hong Kong International Airport from Mar 25th

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, said on the 23rd that in order to cope with the COVID-19 better, all non-Hong Kong residents coming from overseas countries or regions will not be allowed to enter Hong Kong after arriving at the Hong Kong International Airport by air from 00:00 Mar 25th.

Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor said that from 00:00 Mar 25th, non-Hong Kong residents coming from the Mainland, Macau and Taiwan will not be allowed to enter Hong Kong if they have visited overseas countries or regions in the past 14 days. All people entering Hong Kong from Macau, Taiwan, including Hong Kong residents, are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine. All the above measures are tentatively implemented for 14 days.

All non-Macao residents who have traveled abroad within 14 days will not be allowed to enter Macau from Mar 25th
Ho Iat Seng, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, announced on 24th that all Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan residents who have traveled abroad within 14 days will not be allowed to enter Macau from 00:00 Mar 25th, and Macau Airport will suspend flight transfer service.

In combination with the previous regulations, all foreigners and the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan residents who have visited foreign countries within 14 days are prohibited from entering Macao. Ho Iat Seng, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, once announced on 17th that all non-residents would not allowed to enter Macau from 00:00 Mar 18th, except for holders of ID cards which are provided for foreign employees and residents in the Mainland, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan.

National Immigration Administration: Foreigners who do not truthfully report information will not be allowed to enter

The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council held a press conference at 15:00 on March 23 to introduce the latest situation of prevention and control of the epidemic imported from abroad in accordance with the law.

At the press conference, Liu Haitao, director of the Border Inspection & Management Department of the National Immigration Administration, stated that according to the current situation of the development of overseas epidemic outbreak, immigration administration requires foreigners who are ready to enter China to truthfully report the information as their domestic invitation units and contacts, their destination addresses, and their own contact information. For foreigners who do not meet the entry requirements, do not answer the inquiries from the border inspection authorities truthfully, fail to fill in the information truthfully, and fail to fulfill the prescribed procedures, the border inspection authorities will deny their entry applications in accordance with the law.
