Svetlana, a Russian-language teacher working in Liaoyuan, Jilin Province, also traveled to Wenzhou especially for the exhibition. Speaking about her work, she said: “Every frame in this series tells a story. It is also my love letter to China.”

During the event, many local residents and visitors stopped to admire the exhibition and exchange ideas with the photographers about artistic inspiration and everyday life. The photographs not only showcased the cultural charm and natural beauty of Chinese cities, but also encouraged viewers to see familiar scenes from an international perspective. Many visitors commented that the exhibition allowed them to discover a different side of China while experiencing the warmth and emotional connection brought by cultural exchange.

To help guests stay cool during the summer event, the Wenzhou Lucheng District Sanleting Public Welfare Charity Service Center thoughtfully prepared complimentary local refreshments, including almond tofu dessert and herbal tea. The refreshing treats added a touch of comfort to the event and highlighted Wenzhou’s spirit of public service and hospitality, earning praise from many visitors.

According to the organizers, the exhibition not only created a platform for cultural exchange and artistic presentation among Chinese and international youth, but also enriched the city’s international cultural atmosphere. More international photography exhibitions are planned in the future, continuing to tell the vibrant stories of Maritime Silk Road cities through images and visual storytelling.
