From March 26 to 27, the "2026 International Makers’ Zhejiang Tour" event was held in Yiwu. Young entrepreneurs from multiple countries and regions, including Egypt, South Korea, Nigeria, and Kyrgyzstan, gathered here to conduct on-site visits focusing on manufacturing, market procurement, and cross-border trade. While seeking business opportunities and exploring collaborations, they observed Yiwu from the perspective of international makers, experiencing this city’s openness and vitality, and sharing its development story with the world.

For young cross-border trade entrepreneurs, Yiwu is not only a "global marketplace" but also a window to observe how Chinese manufacturing connects with the global market. In Zone 1 of the Yiwu International Trade Market, the young entrepreneurs gained a detailed understanding of product business models and procurement processes, and engaged in exchanges with merchants on topics such as product design, consumption trends, and overseas demand. The "Crying Horse" toy, which gained unexpected popularity after a worker mistakenly sewed its mouth upside down, became a focus of attention. The makers visited the store and discussed product innovation and supply chain responsiveness with the shop owner.

At Huahong Art Home Co., Ltd., the young entrepreneurs learned about the company’s innovative practices in home decor display and market expansion. Ataikhan from Kyrgyzstan, who founded Marina International Trade Co., Ltd. in Wenzhou, came prepared for this visit to Yiwu. "I am very optimistic about Yiwu, and there will be future collaborations here," he said. On-site, Ataikhan also reached a cooperation intent with Huahong Art Home Co., Ltd. to export home decorations to Central Asian countries.

During the research tour, the young entrepreneurs will also visit the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, the New Energy Product Market in Zone 2 East of the Yiwu Trade Market, and the Imported Goods City in Zone 5, experiencing Yiwu’s industrial vitality and innovative ecosystem from multiple dimensions.
